Top 5 Scariest Movies to See This Halloween

Chucky Movies

The Chucky Franchise is definitely worth watching this Halloween. I first saw Chucky when I was too little to watch horror movies (I really don’t know where my parents were or why they allowed me to watch it in the first place) and it scared the hell out of me. The movies are about a doll, which is possessed by a serial killer’s soul. The doll evolves with each movie and in the fourth he gets those scars and patches along with the bloody eyes.

Drag Me To Hell

Released in 2009, Drag me to hell has plenty of jump-out-of-your-seat moments and lots of laughs, which is uncommon for a horror movie. After a loan officer evicts an old gypsy woman from her home, she faces down a supernatural curse that threatens to push her to the breaking point and steal her soul.

Halloween Series

I would watch the Halloween Series over and over again…well, some of them. Since the original movie, released in 1978, Halloween received another nine movies from which Halloween III has nothing to do with the rest of the series. The movies focus on Michael Myers, a murder that kills his older sister and returns home after 15 years to kill more teenagers. Make sure you lock the doors if you are watching the series.

The Amityville Horror

The Amityville Horror is based on a true story, which makes it even scarier. The movie paints the story of a family that moves into a house filled with dark secrets and demonic forces, previously owned by a mass-murder.

Wrong Turn Series

The Wrong Turn Series are the perfect mix between scary and extremely gross moments. It’s advisable not to eat – before, during and after the movie(s). The entire series are based on a group of men, extremely disfigured that live in the mountains. Not scarred yet? Well, to “entertain” themselves they hunt people and….eat them. This “diet” seems to work because there are currently 6 movies released and the 7th one is announced for 2015.
